CAHM's Animal Science Program dates:

Course Outline:

This year of CAHM's Animal Science Program will focus on pathology. Each module of the program is two days, commencing on Wednesday morning and ending on Thursday afternoon. The hours for each day are from 10:00am to 6:00pm. There will be a lunch break and two coffee breaks each day.

Year 2 - Module 1:

Wednesday
Pathology of the Exoskeleton
Pathology of the Eye

Thursday
Pathology of the Brain and the Central Nervous System
Pathology of the Nose, Throat and Ear

Year 2 - Module 2:

Wednesday
Pathology of the Cardiovascular System
Pathology of the Respiratory System

Thursday
Pathology of the Liver, Spleen, Stomach, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Colon, Rectum, Anus, Anal Glands and Pancreas
Pathology of the Genitourinary Organs

Year 2 - Module 3:

Wednesday

MIDTERM EXAM

Pathology of the Endocrine System
Pathology of the Immune System

Thursday
Pathology that stems from Parasitology, Bacteriology, Virology

Year 2 - Module 4:

Wednesday
Pathology comparisons with Blood Tests, Radiology, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, MRI, Epidurograms

Thursday
Iatrogenic Pathology

FINAL EXAM

Note: The above Modules will be taught with a significant emphasis on canine and feline pathology.
